The tender centipede is fully equalized in prototypical design, the leaf springs are assembled from eighteen individual leafs per journal, that's 18,000 leafs for the project. There are prototypical binding bars and fasteners on the journals and there are individual lubrication lines to each journal box. Also notice the individual air lines to the brakes on each axle. If you look closely at the pins that hold the fulcrum bars for the suspension in place (between the brake shoes) for each axle pair, you will see that they are a prototypical design and that the pins are locked in position by miniature locking wires across the face of the heads.
